School Closure
MCSS
Due to the forecasted inclement weather, all Macon County Schools will be closed on Thursday, September 26, and Friday, September 27 for the safety of our students, staff, and community.
There will be no extracurricular activities on Thursday. Friday evening activities are still planned pending safety.
Please stay safe and monitor local news outlets and our website for any further updates.

Due to an unforeseen incident beyond our control, all students will be released early at 9:00 am. Students will receive breakfast. After breakfast, buses will begin loading at 9:00 am and all car riders may be picked up at 9:00 am. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

VIRTUAL/AT-HOME LEARNING DAY
Due to pending inclement weather, MCSS will be closed for on-campus learning on January 9, 2024. MCHS and MCMS will log into Teams for virtual-learning assignments. MCES will receive learning packets before dismissal today. Please check bookbags for these assignments. Students will return to school on Wednesday, January 10.

The Macon County Middle School football game scheduled for September 27th has been postponed until September 28th at 6:00 p.m. in Berrien County.
We are excited about our partnership with Ms. Katrisha Williams with West Central Health District. They will be providing Bullying Awareness Prevention to our students this semester! #leadingfrommiddle
