Good morning, Macon County families and staff. Due to severe weather across the area, Macon County School System has safely transported some students who were already on buses. We are aware of trees down and power lines faltering in several areas, which may impact travel. Out of an abundance of caution, schools will operate on a delayed start today at 9:30 a.m. Buses will begin running again at 8:30 a.m. in areas where routes are safe. All staff members should report to work safely if possible. If you cannot travel, please notify your immediate supervisor. Please stand by for updates.
