Hello Bulldogs! Welcome to Macon County Middle School! I am excited to partner with you in your education this year. I began teaching many years ago and retired in 2022. I chose to return to teaching because I felt that I still had valuable knowledge and skills to share. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Georgia College, a Master of Science degree in Middle Grades Education from Fort Valley State and a Specialist of Education degree in Middle Grades Education from Georgia Southwestern. In addition to my formal education, I have gathered years and years of information from the various workshops and conferences I have attended to make me better at teaching the students in my classes. Although, I currently live in Perry, I am from Macon County and graduated from Macon County High School. I enjoy reading, listening to music and spending time with my family and friends.
