8th Grade Science
Ms. C. Minter
Greetings, Macon County School family and supporters. In introduction, I am Colbretta Q. Minter, 8th grade Physical Science teacher. As an honored employee with the Macon County School System, I would like to share the following information. My educational journey began immediately after high school with Fort Valley State University with a study in Criminal Justice. From there, a course of life led me to Atlanta Christian College to complete a Bachelor of Science degree in Christian Ministry. The next level of education was a completion of a Master of Science degree in Human Services with a specialization in counseling.
In 2010, my public school career began in Schley County, Ellaville, Georgia. From there, I began teaching full-time in a private school sector in Americus, Georgia-Ombudsman.
For the past 4-5 years, Macon County has been my place of employment. The teaching journey began as a high school teacher for Ecology and Physical Science. Nonetheless, as an educator with a passion to teach science, a door was opened with Macon County Middle School where I have excelled in passing the Georgia GACE Test for Georgia middle school Science.
Lastly, for school support, you will always find me present uplifting the student athletes in basketball.
Respectfully,
Colbretta Q. Minter
