Greetings! My name is Kelley Jackson. I have been the counselor at Macon County Middle School since 2011. I have been employed with the Macon County School District since 2005 with a brief stint as the middle school counselor in Hancock County. I am honored to be able to give back to the community that invested so much in me. I am a 2001 Honor Graduate of Macon
County High School. I hold a Bachelors in Psychology from Georgia Southern
University, a Masters in School Counseling from Albany State University and an
Educational Specialist in School Counseling from Fort Valley State University.
I am currently attending Georgia Southern University obtaining an add on certificate in Educational Leadership.
I work hard and I don't take my position lightly. As a result, for the 2019-2020 school term, my colleagues voted me as Staff Member of the Year. I serve on the school's leadership team, as the Peer Leader Sponsor, as the Afterschool Coordinator, as the Coordinator of Summer School, and as the GA Milestones Saturday Prep Coordinator. I also serve as the Chair of multiple committees. I look forward to an amazing school year and I can't wait to see the great things in store for Macon County Middle School!
My motto: #leadingfromthemiddle
